mateo county and redwood city firefighters are on the scene of a fire at home in the 3400 block of paige street in redwood city. for that location is near where the dumbarton bridge meets 1 01 in redwood city. the fire was in a shed in the back of the house. the slaves did not spread to the home. the resident was home at the time but was not injured. the cause of the fire is not see seen as suspicious. >> investigators are still searching for a man who attempted to kidnap a three year-old boy from a store in " the great mall " shopping center in milpitas. here is a sketch of the suspect. he is described as an asian male, between 50 to 60 years

lot of parents. it happened on january 6th, 83 year-old boy was inside the apparel shop in millipede is holding his mother's hand. at some point the mother felt a tug on her child and she assumed it was her has been grabbing the young boy. she let go at a few moments later she noticed a total stranger trying to walk out of the store with her child. she screamed and the suspect let go of the child and the mall. ts ok but authorities never found the suspect. they've put together a composite sketch and the suspect is described as an asian male, 5260 years old range in height from 5 ft. 4 in. to 5 ft. 8 in. tall weigh about 200 lbs. and has black hair. if you recognize this person will be as police would like to hear from you. they also want to hear from you if you were at the great mall back on january 6th and you remember anything suspicious

>> good morning bay area your waking up the kron4 morning news is 7:42 a.m.. 27 as a common number for center rose about 029 for concord and pleasanton and at the freezing mark in vallejo. it is freezing out there, no doubt about it. we have fought to contend with. it is informing and some of our inland valleys. santa rosa's visibility is down to just a mile there, 2 mi. for about zero and six if you're driving around concord or napa. yesterday we had instances of freezing fog and that is rare in the bay area. we may see it once again today because temperatures are below freezing. when you couple that with visibility and temperatures that are really cold that could be potentially dangerous. that is something we will continue to monitor. the good news the fog will learn offense the afternoon. temperatures mid to upper 60s are certainly a
